Anatomy, one of the basic pillars of all medical fields of study for a strong foundation in human biology is quintessential to understand human diseases in its entirety. And teaching in Human Anatomy at College of Medicine and Health Sciences started since 2008.

In the beginning, due to lack of specialized staff teaching was done on a theoretical basis, but soon School of Medicine temporarily had a room at Main Campus where dissection of cadaver was first introduced in 2010 and later, it was shifted to Nech Sar Campus along with the College.

Teaching courses such as gross, neuro, microscopic and developmental Anatomy continues and by 2015, there was Anatomy unit that was managing everything. In 2017, it introduced Master program in Clinical Anatomy and a year later it got metamorphosed into Department of Anatomy.
