Arba Minch University (AMU) hosted a thought-provoking public lecture titled “Beyond Academic Excellence: Academicians as Innovators” on June 18th, 2025, at its Main Campus. The event was organized by the Grant and Collaborative Project Management Directorate in partnership with Dr. Yonas Gizaw: founder of Green Chem Solution LLC and adjunct professor at Purdue University, USA. 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮, Academic Director of the Netherlands-based International Centre for Frugal Innovation (ICFI). The lecture will explore how frugal approaches can drive impactful, inclusive, and sustainable development by leveraging local resources and knowledge.
