Wondwossen Jerene Daare (PhD, Assistant Professor)

Dr. Wondwossen Jerene has earned his PhD in Finance from Punjabi Univerity, Patiala, India in 2020. For the last 14 years he is serving as assistant professor in the department of Accounting and Finance, Arba Minch University. He is currently working as Director for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Centre. Additionally, Dr. Wondwossen is leading principal investigator and coordinator of € 445,090 budgeted project named JOB-FEET, among the budget € 389,790 is funded by EU and Germany government under African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), SIFA Window III. He was also worked as Dean, College of Business and Economics, and as head of the department of Accounting and Finance, Arba Minch University. Dr. Wondowossen Jerene is independent certified business advisor and founder of Africom Business and Investment Consultancy. He has published articles in international journals and presented research work in conferences. His research interest area is in banking technologies, e-service, electronic finance, digital finance, e-payment, e-tax, e-business and financial inclusions.
