Mengistu Tumayro Yankassa (M.Sc in Soil Science)

My name is Mengistu Tumayro, I was born on 22 September 1993 G.C from my father Mr. Tumayro Yankassa and my mother Mrs. Shako Yaso at Kashale Kebele in Konso Kenna Woreda Konso Zone Southern Ethiopia. I attended my elementary School in Kashale (grade 1-4) and Fasha (grade 5-8) primary School, respectively in 2001-2008 G.C. Then I studied my Secondary School (grade 9-10) in Fasha High School in 2009-2010 G.C and Preparatory School in Konso Secondary and Preparatory School in 2011–2012 G.C and passed Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination with a great distinction.

I joined Bule Hora University in October 2012 G.C and obtained BSc Degree in Plant Science in June 2015 G.C. Then, I employed at Arba Minch University, College of Agricultural Sciences Department of Plant Science in August 2015 as Graduate assistant. Then, I joined the School of Graduate Studies of Arba Minch University in October 2016 G.C for Master of Science Degree in Soil Science. Then I graduated with Master of soil science in June, 2018 G.C.. And Finally to present I am Working as Lecturer and researcher of Soil Science and crop Production in Department of Plant Science, College of Agricultural Science, Arba Minch University.
