Bio:

Dr. Biniam Wondale is an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Biology, College of Natural and Computational Sciences, Arba Minch University. He has an educational background of BSc in Applied Biology from Hawassa (Debub) University, MSc in Biomedical Sciences and PhD in Tropical and Infectious Diseases from Addis Ababa University. Additionally, he took molecular biology practical training at BecA-ILRI, Kenya and J. Craig Venter Institute, Maryland, USA. He teaches immunology, parasitology, virology, and methods in molecular biology for undergraduate and graduate students. His research interests mainly focus on epidemiology of tuberculosis, non-mycobacterium tuberculosis, malaria, intestinal parasites and drug resistance. Currently, he is under establishment of Level – III Mycobacteriology Research Laboratory.
