Arba Minch University has hosted Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s (MoSHE) 2-day training for 45 Ethiopian Government universities’ presidents, vice presidents and scientific directors from 9th to 10th March, 2021, at Main Campus. Arba Minch University’s Research Directorate has hosted 8th Annual Research Review workshop at Main Campus beginning from 5th to 6th March, 2021. AMU has commemorated the 125th anniversary of iconic Adwa Victory with great zeal and fervor at Main Campus on 2nd March, 2021. Many war veterans with pips and gongs, Gamo elders draped in colorful ethnic attire, Gamo Zone officials, guests from different walks of life and AMU community graced the event. Arba Minch University in association with Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) has organized a 2-day workshop on multi-sectoral inter-disciplinary research findings on moringa stenopetala at New Hall, Main Campus, from 26th to 27th February, 2021. The 1st day saw presentation of 9 research findings that generated a much-needed synergy where researchers, academicians, officials and different stakeholders could discuss the multiple medicinal, epidemiological, biochemical and health benefits of moringa for the society.
