Arba Minch University will be hosting its 32nd Convocation at Abaya Campus Auditorium on 6th July, 2019. AMU Board Chairman, Dr Yinager Dessie, the Governor of National Bank, will grace the function; leaders from different regions, woredas and others are among the invitees.
To enable people thronging the venue to comfortably view graduation proceedings commencing from 8.30 am, university is making all necessary arrangements to stream the event live on Facebook, YouTube and it’s also likely to be on Walta TV network at least for two hours.
Apart from dignitaries, invited guests, officials, AMU Board members, patrons, well-wishers, relatives of graduates and university community will grace the ceremony.
For successful hosting of this flagship event, AMU President, Dr Damtew Darza, has constituted a main committee and 11 sub-committees to be manned by different individuals are as follow: reception, advertising, media communication & entertainment, hospitality, arrangement & rehearsal, security, decoration, transportation, evaluation & implementation, stage-hall arrangement and exhibition; main committee has seven members with Dr Damtew Darza its chairman.
Sawla Campus will be holding graduation for its graduates at its premises on 7th July, 2019; all AMU top officials and others are expected to be in attendance.
