F𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 is the theme of an inspiring special lecture to be delivered by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮, Academic Director of the Netherlands-based International Centre for Frugal Innovation (ICFI). The lecture will explore how frugal approaches can drive impactful, inclusive, and sustainable development by leveraging local resources and knowledge.

𝗜𝗖𝗙𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮, officially formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to foster research, promote frugal innovation, and build local capacity through joint programs, academic exchanges, and grassroots innovation initiatives. The collaboration reflects a shared vision for empowering communities through low-cost, high-impact entrepreneurial solutions tailored to local realities.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, including Arba Minch University (AMU), Arba Minch Polytechnic and Satellite Institute (AMPSI), Alliance College (AC), and Alliance Frugal Innovation Center (AFIC).
