PROJECT DESCRIPTION

ESRI provides a comprehensive suite of tools under the ArcGIS platform, designed for geospatial data collection, analysis, management, visualization, and sharing across organizations. ArcGIS supports the full spectrum of modern GIS needs and stands out as the only platform offering a true digital twin capability for institutions.

The ArcGIS ecosystem broadly encompasses: Web GIS for online mapping and collaboration; Field data collection and management for real-time updates; Desktop GIS for advanced spatial analysis; Enterprise GIS for large-scale organizational integration; Imagery and remote sensing software for spatial intelligence at Arba Minch University. The AMU–ESRI Coordination Office is responsible for deploying and managing this platform.
