PROJECT DESCRIPTION
International Credit Mobility (ICM) is an Erasmus+ program that facilitates student and staff mobility between European universities and partner universities outside the EU. Students can study at the partner university and earn recognized ECTS credits that count toward their home study program. Academic and administrative staff can teach, train, and gain international experience, promoting institutional cooperation and professional development.
Additional Objectives of the Collaboration: i) Develop institutional cooperation beyond student and staff mobility. ii)Support international projects, research, and cultural exchange. iii) Strengthen the internationalization of higher education and enhance academic quality.
It fully covers following mobilities: 3 incoming students from AMU to MENDELU; 3 incoming staff from AMU to MENDELU; 2 outgoing Ph.D. Students from MENDELU to AMU; and 2 outgoing staff from MENDELU to AMU
Main activities and facilities: Laboratories of Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology; Laboratories of Department of Food Technology on Faculty of Agrisciences; Molecular Characterization, Nutritional Profiling, Biological activities, and Value-Chain of Moringa stenopetala from Southern Ethiopia; Support of multisectoral research on Arba Minch University, Coffee production and processing, processing of agricultural waste (coffee husk, mango pits).
