PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Household air pollution (HAP) arising from traditional cooking practices remains one of the most critical public health concerns in low-income settings. HAP particularly the concentrations of fine PM₂.₅ and CO frequently exceed WHO indoor air quality thresholds by more than tenfold. This study aims to measure changes in HAP from improved cookstove (ICS) (Mirt and Efoy models) adoption in Kamba and Kucha Districts of Gamo Zone, Southern Ethiopia.
