PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Evaluating the verification of new fungicides/pesticides against registered and widely used pesticides is one of the standard procedures for registration. Accordingly, an experiment will be conducted to evaluate the efficacy of different herbicides and pesticides on tomato, pepper, onion, cabbage wheat and maize using already registered herbicides/pesticides as standard checks in the country. The fungicide test will be evaluated for better in management of powdery mildew and other pests over unsprayed/ control. Based on their performance best pesticide/herbicides will be recommended for registration and to use as control of major pests in tomato and other major crops production in areas with similar agro-ecology with Arba Minch.
