The EJWST is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal published biannually by Arba Minch University. It publishes original research papers which are of regional and international significance in the fields of water science and technology that encompass water resources and management, hydraulic and hydropower, water and environment, irrigation and drainage, water management and institutions, hydrometeorology, water management and development technologies, water resources and climate change.

AMU, University of Rostock sign MoU for educational, joint research

Keeping up the pace of its earnest efforts to collaborate with internationally renowned education institution, Arba Minch University’s Institute of Technology (IoT) has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Rostock on December 11, 2014, in Rostock, Germany.

World is running out of land, says Dr Rogier

‘‘Today, the world is facing most crucial problem of sustainable food security because it’s fast reaching 13 billion population marks, and seems to be running out of land. The dietary shift further has compounded the issue and it would need 60% more food by 2050,’’ said Dr Rogier Schulte, Leader for Translational Research on Sustainable Food Production from The Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority (Teagasc).
