AMU-VLIROUS launches four-year ‘Enset Team Project’

AMU in association with VLIROUS, Belgium, has launched a new 4-year Enset Team Project on April 4, 2016, in a kickoff conference held at New Hall, Main Campus. Flemish promoters, Prof. Karen Vancampenhout, Prof. Seppe Deckers, AMU officials, stakeholders and others graced the function. Click here to see the Pictures.

VLIR-UOS-AMU project formulation mission to continue till April 4

The formulation process of VLIR-UOS-approved six projects of Arba Minch University got kicked off on 30th March, 2016, at Main Campus. A team of experts from four Flemish universities with AMU project leaders have jointly began looking into the specificity to fine-tune proposals to be submitted to the funding agency by May 9, 2016.  Click here to see more picture

AMU to host 4 important conferences from March 30

AMU will be hosting 4 conferences from 30th March to 6th April, 2016, at Main Campus. First, a six-day conference on fine-tuning of VLIR-IUC-funded six projects will begin from March 30 to April 4, 2016. Visiting experts from Belgium universities will brainstorm with AMU officials.

Research picking up pace in Arba Minch University

Research Directorate with its twin mandate of serving academia and community has come of age. If pace, quantity and quality of researches being conducted from inception to date are any indications, then its bang on target and hundreds of multi-disciplinary projects benefitting community would make our claim credible.

Community Service: Serving the cause of community, environment

Arba Minch University’s Community Service Directorate is a name to reckon with in the region as it continues to address the broad spectrum of socio-environmental issues. Its several specific projects do offer perfect solutions to social and environmental issues. With academic calendar reaching half way mark, it has had several timely and continuous projects in its kitty.
