Leading officials and entire university community, AMU President, Dr Damtew Darza, congratulated Prime Minister, Dr Abiy Ahmed, for winning The 2019 Noble Peace Prize for phenomenal efforts in ending hostility with bitter foe Eritrea in a short span of assuming his office. He said, we are proud of him and certainly strive hard to play constructive role in ensuring overall development of Ethiopia.

Strategic Planning, Implementation and Evaluation Directorate (SPIED) is an eye and ear of the university that periodically monitors and evaluates Annual Plan against the set targets across all sectors. Its quarterly analysis and remedial suggested measures pave way for reforms and corresponding study of fiscal cycle involving institutional activities serve as a beacon to brace up for future challenges; following report deals with its overall strategic protocol.

AMU has hosted 2-day training on strategic issues linked with New Education Roadmap on the theme - ‘Sustain peaceful teaching-learning environment across university’ from 24th to 25th September, 2019, for entire university’s academic and administrative staff at Main Campus. Both freshmen and senior students were also oriented; while Sawla Campus imparted training to its community on October 1, 2019.Click here to see the pictures
