Arba Minch University/AMU/ higher officials attend a conference on Irrigation and Climate Resilient Production 2025 commenced on February 12, 2025.  The conference, organized by the Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands (MILLs), aims to foster discussions on innovative strategies for climate-resilient agricultural practices, bringing together policymakers, ambassadors, and representatives from international organizations and development partners. Arba Minch University (AMU), Czech Geological Survey (CGS) collaboratively hosted third collaborative project review meeting to assess the progresses; the meeting focused on the implementation status and future activities essential for sustainable water resources management in Gamo, Gofa, and Gedio zones in South Ethiopia and Sidama Regional States on February 10, 2025. Arba Minch University (AMU), Ghent University and Vliruos launch SOSforEthiopia Project titled “Sustainable Solutions to Enhance Soil Health and Cowpea and Soybean Productivity in Southern Ethiopia” on February 4/2025 at Abaya campus. Arba Minch Institute of Technology (AMiT) Held Five day Training for Field Civil Engineers

Arba Minch University (AMU) Institute of Technology Faculty of Civil Engineering in collaboration with Arba Minch Municipality held five day training for field civil engineers on “Traffic field studies and analysis to mitigate traffic problems in urban areas”. Participants for training were field civil engineers from Arba Minch Municipality, Town planning, Construction Organizations and any other civil engineering sectors in and around Gamo Zone.
