Arba Minch University(AMU), Aarhus University-Denmark, Jimma University, FDRE Technical Vocational Training Institute, associate partners Anjo-Nus Food Processing PLC and Pulto Agricultural Activities cooperative collaboratively kick off a new five year project entitled “Food Security in the face of climate changes: resilient Enset Production with less Resource Use (Future-Enset)” on 6th May, 2025. የአርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሥነ- ትምህርትና  ሥነ-ባህርይ ሳይንስ ትምህርት ቤት የሳይኮሎጂ ትምህርት ክፍል የ2ኛ አመት ተማሪ የሆነው ናትናኤል ፀጉ አሰፋ  ከጓደኛው ጋር በተፈጠረ የግል ፀብ በደረሰበት ጥቃት ዛሬ ጠዋት ሚያዚያ  28 ቀን 2017 ዓ/ም   ከፍተኛ ጉዳት ደርሶበታል:: በመሆኑም ሕይወቱን ለማትረፍ በአርባ ምንጭ አጠቃላይ ሆስፒታል ከፍተኛ ርብርብ ቢደረግም ሳይሳካ በመቅረቱ ማምሻውን 12:30 ላይ ሕይወቱ አልፏል።

Arba Minch Institute of Technology (AMiT) hosted the 6th International Conference on Innovation and Challenges in Engineering and Technology for Sustainable Development (ICET) on 3rd May, 2025; 14 papers were presented among which12 were from 8 universities across Ethiopia, 1 from Federal University of Technology, Nigeria, and 1 from Ethio-Djibouti Railway Share Company and 4 from AMU.
