Arba Minch University (AMU) along with its partners Sahay Solar Association and HSLU Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts completed the two weeks advanced solar training for staff and PhD students from Switzerland, AMU and personnel from stakeholder industries; the trainees were certified on Feb 17/2025.  Click here to see more photos.

Arba Minch University (AMU) Internationalization and Collaboration Directorate in collaboration with Charles University Faculty of Arts of Czech Republic held a public lecture on how language, gest, and visuals shape the “White Savior” in action films on February 11/ 2025 at Chamo Campus. Arba Minch University/AMU/ higher officials attend a conference on Irrigation and Climate Resilient Production 2025 commenced on February 12, 2025.  The conference, organized by the Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands (MILLs), aims to foster discussions on innovative strategies for climate-resilient agricultural practices, bringing together policymakers, ambassadors, and representatives from international organizations and development partners.
