In a landmark initiative aimed at improving water resource management in South Ethiopia Region, especially Gamo Zone, Arba Minch University (AMU) and the Czech Geological Survey (CGS) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 8, 2024. The initiative, titled “Improving the quality of life by ensuring availability and sustainable management of water resources in Sidama Region and Gamo and Gofa Zones (Ethiopia),' is designed to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water resources in the target areas. በ2017 የትምህርት ዘመን አዲስ አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለተመደባችሁ እና በ2016 ትምህርት ዘመን የአቅም ማሻሻያ (Remedial) ፕሮግራም በአርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመከታተል የማለፊያ ውጤት ላስመዘገባችሁ የቅድመ-ምረቃ መደበኛ ፕሮግራም ተማሪዎች ቅበላ ቅዳሜና እሁድ ህዳር 7 እና 8 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም፣ ምዝገባ ሰኞ እና ማክሰኞ ኅዳር 9 እና 10 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም፣ ትምህርት የሚጀምረው ረቡዕ ኀዳር 11 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም እንዲሆን ተወስኗል፡፡
